

This 10-week certification program is designed by industry experts to equip organizational leaders, teachers, and health promotion practitioners with research-based tools and strategies to foster Digital Flourishing®.
Digital Flourishing refers to a mindful approach to digital technology usage that supports our thriving in different areas of life. This approach empowers us to take advantage of the benefits of technology while avoiding associated harms.
Course objectives:
1. Knowledge
Understand key terminology of digital wellness and the attention economy.
Identify the warning signs of technology addiction, technology dependency, and digital distress.
Understand current technology trends and their impact on human behavior.
Understand the impact of mainstream technologies on mindfulness in society.
Discuss the design and regulation of technology for digital health.
2. Embodiment
Speak authoritatively about the core components of Digital Flourishing.
Model the prevention of and recovery from digital burnout and sensory overload.
Discover practices to explore and improve your relationship with technology.
3. Empowerment
Coach colleagues and clients on effective digital boundaries and intentional technology practices.
Assess and track digital wellness over time using research-based methodologies.
Utilize technology as an ally to optimize wellbeing in the digital age.
The Digital Wellness Certificate is a 10-week course split into modules which guide you through a comprehensive understanding of assessing and addressing digital wellness.
The Certificate features blended-learning including expert video content, interactive activities, and a powerful portal for reflection and group discussion. Time commitment for the certification program is roughly 3 hours per week.
During the program, you will hear from more than 10 visiting teachers who are experts and thought leaders in the fields of digital wellness. Our visiting teachers provide high-quality and timeless instruction on a variety of topics.
In addition to our visiting teachers, you will hear from core faculty at the Digital Wellness Institute. Our faculty hold a number of credentials and qualifications, including advanced degrees and certificates in: Psychology, Business, Coaching, Research, and Meditation.

Your core teachers also lead The Digital Wellness Collective - the global trade association for digital wellness professionals. This allows us the unique opportunity to be constantly integrating breaking news and innovative approaches to digital wellness into all of our educational material.
The certification program costs $1,499.

Our only academic requirements are a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. If you have a passion for updating your leadership and wellness toolkit in the digital age, a desire for a transformative personal experience and/or a career change, and the determination to make a difference in the world, you’ll find success and inspiration within our program.

Yes. We are proud to co-sponsor with R. Cassidy Seminars on CE for this certification offering up to 30 continuing education credits for a variety of professionals.
We will offer course approvals for Psychologists, Psychoanalysts, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Creative Arts Therapists, Chemical Dependency Counselors and RNs. The credits are an additional $40 to process.
Please note that we will not be able to offer CE for MA MFTs, MA LMHCs, MN MFTs (although these first three can be self-submitted. See licensing board for that option.), and NJ SWs (which cannot be self-submitted).
